Training Shoulders at out Personal Training Studio in Liverpool Street, London

Wide, fully-developed shoulders help create the coveted tapered physique. While it may seem to be a second thought, behind chest and arms, this part of the body is one of the most important, in my opinion.
Powerful deltoids will not only bring that aesthetic look but it will also help your upper body function better.

In weight training, an especially in men, we tend to over train our chest to point where it actually looks smaller!, this is due to tightness in the chest (Muscles tighten when trained). Now this is not JUST due to overtraining the chest, its actually due to under training the rear deltoid (back of your shoulder). Training this area has been neglected not just weightlifters and bodybuilders, but office workers also. They slouch all day over the desk!

In This video we are training lateral Deltoids. Here we have Jason, demonstrating. He raises the weight so it ends up parallel with his shoulders. Note that he has a slight bend in his elbows too. Jason Demonstrated a small pause at the top of the move and slowly allows the weight to return to its starting position. Jason Allows for his lateral deltoids to be exposed to as much resistance as possible.
