Ladies, are you weight training?
I hope the answer is ‘yes’, as the benefits are overwhelming.
If you’re female, and yet to begin training with weights, here are some benefits:
You Become Stronger
Strength is addictive, training with weights will help you develop mental strength, as well as physical. Everyday tasks such as moving objects around the house, to carrying shopping become easier, and less of a struggle.
Reduced Risk of Osteoporosis
There’s also the health benefit of weight training which must be considered. As we age, women have a higher risk of osteoporosis, where bone density begins to deteriorate meaning there’s a higher risk of fractures and injuries.
Whilst weight training strengthens your muscles, it also strengthens your bones and increases their density – Perfect!
You’ll Look Nicer
Is your goal directly linked to your body shape and appearance? If yes, weight training should be your #1 go-to activity, no contest!
And will you get bulky?
